- @fade77 Hi ravenfeather - unfortunately I didn't actually ever write a BeagleBoard book. I have heard that one is in the works, though. 2 weeks ago

Hello,
I found your slides interesting to read, but I have a question: both three distributions fail to configure your scanner correctly: does a free driver exist for your scanner HW?
If not then it’s a not very interesting test no?
Regards.

James – thanks! It was great to see you at LinuxCon.
reno – good point, although I thought the interesting part of the exercise was the process rather than the result. By the time openSUSE let me know about the proprietary drivers, I had had enough of that particular activity on all three distros. Next time, I’ll follow through completely.
